If you are reading this, there’s a good chance that your child has felt like a fish climbing a tree. They might be having a hard time trying to explain how their brain works to others, or they have a hard time trying to figure out how their brain works themselves. You might have spent countless hours communicating with schools, family members, or others in an attempt to gain understanding, accommodations, or accessibility for your child, with little or no success. You may have even seen your child fall into the belief that they are broken, or that something is wrong with them. 

While working with young people, I use a collaborative, strength based approach as a foundation to meet clients where they are. Before going back to school for my MSW, I worked in elementary special education, and have experience working with children with anxiety, depression, learning differences, neurodivergences, disabilities, and trauma. I found my passion in helping young people find their strength while working in the schools. 

I work with children, teens, and young adults, but I am also happy to work with their families at the end of sessions to find additional resources, navigate educational systems, find coping skills and strategies, etc.. 

Education and Additional Training

I am currently attending Eastern Michigan University and will be graduating with my Masters of Social Work in summer of 2027. I have a Bachelors of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education and Special Education with a Learning Disabilities Endorsement. I am trained in Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP).
